 Troy Hill

Dyslexic Thinker

Troy started his career in the energy and telecom industry as a contractor for the US Department of Energy (DOE). At the DOE Troy regularly spoke and trained industry peers and partners about the benefits of using renewable energy technology. In 2014 Troy was recruited to Iron Mountain data centers, to take a company with two enterprise data centers and turn it into the 24 data center global platform that it is today. Troy received his B.S. degree in communications from Radford University. Troy is uniquely positioned to advocate for and engage with the community on the topic of dyslexia, having been diagnosed at the age of seven. His personal experience has played a significant role in his success in the IT world. While dyslexia presents daily challenges, it also motivates him to work diligently and fosters his openness in discussing the topic with others.
